Gal kas nematėt:
As Brexit is approaching, 31 December 2020 will mark the end of the transition period. We would like tо explain how this might affect you and what you can do to remain our client.

To continue using our services all you need to do is to confirm the following:

You are using Trading 212 UK at your own initiative. You will continue trading with Trading 212 UK based on an ongoing relationship. You are aware that Trading 212 UK is authorised in the UK, which is no longer part of the EU.You will benefit from UK regulatory protections exclusively.

How do I confirm these apply?

A pop-up message will appear on your account from 22 December 2020 asking you to confirm that you agree with the above statements. If you do, no further action will be required on your end.

How will this affect my investments?

Existing investments and assets: Your investments and assets will not be affected in any way.
Regulatory Protection: FCA’s regulations and protection will continue to apply to your account, but you will no longer be able to benefit from any additional EU regulatory protection.
Compensation Schemes: The Financial Services Compensation Scheme (FSCS) will continue to protect you and your investments.
Right to Complain: The complaints policy will remain unchanged; you will be able to take your complaints to the FCA and FOS should the need arise.

If you don’t confirm by 31 December 2020 that the above statements apply, you will only be able to close your existing positions, without the option of opening new ones.

If you have any additional questions, you might find the answers here.

Best regards,
The Trading 212 Team

Nelabai suprantu aš to Brexit'o.

Iš mūsų pusės tik šitas dalis: "you will no longer be able to benefit from any additional EU regulatory protection".

Man kažkaip shady atrodo. Ibkr neduoda aptarnauti EU zonos asmenų, jeigu neturi būstinės EU zonoje. O čia..

Will this affect my investments?
No, your investments and assets will remain unaffected.

Which regulatory body will I be protected by?
You'll remain a client of Trading 212 UK and your account will continue to be regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA). However, you will not benefit from any additional EU protection.

How will my assets be protected?
The Financial Services Compensation Scheme (FSCS) will continue to protect your investments.

What if I need to make a formal complaint?
Our complaints policies will remain unchanged. If we can’t put things right, your complaint can be escalated to the FOS. As always, we'll do our best to ensure that you receive nothing less than outstanding service, and you can reach our 24/7 customer care team in case you're unhappy or any doubts arise.

What if I haven’t decided yet before January 1st 2021?
As of 1 January 2021, if you have not consented, your account will be put in "close only" mode, meaning you will no longer be able to place new trades, just close existing ones.

rašė: EU regulations provide some leeway for UK-based brokers that do not wish to change their business model at all. Under the MiFID II legislative framework instituted by the EU to regulate financial markets and improve investor protection, there is a provision that allows brokers operating in a third country to serve EU customers at the exclusive initiative of the client. In practice, this means that financial service providers established in a non-EU country will not need EU authorization to serve EU retail clients if the service is provided at the explicit initiative of the client. There is a caveat, though. The law states that an initiative by such clients will not entitle the third-country firm to market new categories of investment products or investment services to that client otherwise than through the branch. This will significantly impair a broker’s ability to gain new clients.

Kiek kainuos pinigų išsiuntimas į UK po sausio 1? Turėtų brangti.
